Cape Breton’s newest trio-Kyle MacDonald (fiddle), Jason Roach (piano), and James MacLean (guitar)-delivers bold arrangements, blistering tunes, and groove beyond their size. Big Sampie Award winners, they play trad that hits harder and dances faster. Each musician in the trio are elements in the traditional music landscape of Cape Breton Island and Atlantic Canada. Friends for years, the trio felt it was a natural progression to work professionally together.
